Working temperature under 108°C : Silicone Rubber
Working temperature under 200°C : Teflon FEP
Working temperature under 260°C : Teflon PFA
Working temperature under 400°C : Fiberglass
Working temperature under 800°C : High silica
Conductor Materials
Pure copper corrodes more easily at high temperatures, so high temperature wire uses the following heat-resistant conductor materials:
- Tin-plated copper (TC): Suitable for moderately high temperatures up to 180ºC
- Nickel-plated copper(NC): For high temperatures up to 450ºC
- Nickel wire(N): Able to withstand very high temperatures above 450ºC
